IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF ANCIENT PERU

Descripción del Tour

First day: Welcome and City Tour in the city of Kings

On his arrival at Jorge Chavez International Airport, our staff will be waiting for you with a sign which bears his name, and then transported to the hotel.   It will be provided free time so they can enjoy our cuisine.   In the afternoon we start our tour with a stop at the smallest district of Lima, Barranco where the famous Bridge of Sighs, the Hermitage and the monument to Isabel Granada Larco “Chabuca Granda” highlights.   We arrived at Miraflores to know the Parque del Amor with a panoramic view of the Huaca Pucllana, Pre Inca temple religious and administrative center inhabited between the III and VIII centuries AD we will walk through the park of olive trees dating from the Viceroyalty with area of ​​23 hectares. Second day: Tour to Pachacamac.

After breakfast we board our transportation and after a 45 minutes to reach the ancient pilgrimage center of pre-Columbian Pachacamac dominated “The fertile valley of Lurin”.   This temple was built 700 BC to worship the Sun God is built with adobe, consisting of a set of temples, pyramids and palaces, among them the “Templo del Sol”, the “temple of Pachacamac,” the “Acllahuasi” or “Palace of the Virgins” Sun enclosures and catacombs, which have been recently restored.   It is considered that was a major ceremonial centers of the pre-Inca era.   Pilgrims flocked here from far away to worship Pachacamac, creator of the world and its creatures.   The best preserved part is the Inca section.   Visit the museum that houses an interesting collection of pre-Hispanic relics.

In the afternoon you will be given free time to rest and start time will transfer to the bus bound for Huaraz.

Third day: Tour to the Llanganuco and Callejón de Huaylas.

After breakfast we will take our transportation to go to the Callejon de Huaylas.   En route we will know peoples of singular beauty as Carhuaz, Mancos, Ranrahirca and Yungay.   Later we will go into the Cordillera Blanca where the Llanganuco Lake, located about 3,850 meters.   It is surrounded by beautiful queñuales.   The place is among the Huascaran and Huandoy and have direct contact with nature and purity of its waters. Then return to Yungay and headed to Caraz.   Return to Huaraz, en route visit a pottery shop.

Day Four: Tour the Temple of Chavin.

Fifth day: Tour the snowy Pastoruri and Puya Raimondi.

Seventh day: Tour in Paso horses.

After a rest we visit the farm Paso horses, enjoy the show and seafood. On site we have time for horseback riding and photo sessions.

Eighth day: Tour to the Temples of the Sun, Moon and Rainbow and tour to Chan Chan.

Tenth day: City tour in Chiclayo and market tour Warlocks.

Twelfth day: Visit to the Museum of Sican, Pomac Forest and Túcume.

Thirteenth day: Travel by plane from Chiclayo to Lima.

The seventeenth day: Trip to Canyon Colca Planet deeper.

After breakfast our staff will pick you up from your hotel for the trip to the Colca Valley, located in the north-eastern end of the Arequipa region, a few hours north of the city of Arequipa Peru.   Here the Colca River and the Colca Canyon is located.   On the tour you can see interesting natural landscapes condors, llamas, alpacas, guanacos, vicuñas and vizcachas.

The origin of this valley is due to a fault in the earth’s crust, eroded by thousands of years by the longest river in the Peruvian coast.   The Colca river reaches depths of up to 3.400 meters on both sides and over 200 kilometers long.

Eighteenth day: Journey to the deepest canyon Colca Planet.

After breakfast we drive to Cruz del Condor.   On the way to the Colca Valley there are 14 villages staggered along the valley, full of life and color.   In the Condor Cross the road passes the edge of the canyon. Experiences from previous visitors indicate that the panorama seen from here is “dramatically” since the Colca River runs down to a depth of 1200 meters while the seawall in front, grows to 3100 meters high on whose summits are permafrost and below the majestic condors fly.   Then return to Chivay to collect our bags and then make the trip to Puno in the afternoon on a tour bus.

Nineteenth day: Tour of Lake Titicaca, Uros Islands and Taquil.

Twenty days: Guided Tour route in Puno – Cusco: La Raya, Sicuani, Raqchi, Andahuaylillas.

After breakfast you will be given the hotel transfer to the bus station to Cusco.   We begin our visit to Pucara, where we will visit the Lithic Museum.   This museum lets dive into the history and evolution of the Andean man from primitive times.   After Pucara the route will be through high Andean plates under an unreal clarity, then we will stop at La Raya the highest point of the route there can take great pictures, we have lunch in a restaurant in the area in Sichuan.   Then visit Racchi, where is located the “Temple of God Wiracocha” and finally visit Andahuaylillas, which for their valuable works, is considered as the Sistine Chapel of America finally be arriving to the city of Cusco, the place will be waiting our staff to provide the shuttle to your hotel.

Twenty First day: City tour in Cusco.

Free morning to rest, suit up and take their food.   Between 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. we will be going through your hotel to start the tour, we will visit the Cathedral, Colonial religious monument of extraordinary artistic value, the Koricancha or Temple of the Sun, where you can appreciate the fine work that the Incas performed on stone.   Continuing the tour we will go to Sacsayhuaman fortress with strategic location, offering an unparalleled view of the city, in this place the Inti Raymi or “Fiesta del Sol” is held every June 24, then visit Kenko, Tambomachay and Puca Pucara, archaeological complex of religious character.

Twenty Second day: Tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas and Aguas Calientes.

In time we will pick the hotel and then go through a paved toward the town of Pisac road, located 32 km from the city of Cusco, once in the place have free time to visit the colorful market and to make purchases of beautiful handicrafts and souvenirs.   We will continue our journey to Urubamba for a buffet lunch at a local restaurant, then visit Ollantaytambo (only city that keeps the urban design by the great Inca architects).   In the afternoon we board the train to Aguas Calientes.

Twenty Third day: Tour to Machu Picchu “The Lost City of the Incas” and hike Huayna Picchu.

After breakfast at the hotel, together with the guide will have the wonderful opportunity to visit Machu Picchu, mysterious and charming considered one of the 7 wonders of the world.   At 11am, the walk to be held Huaynapicchu (Mountain from where you have a spectacular view of the valley of Machu Picchu) and the proper time is down to Aguas Calientes to have lunch and in the afternoon we board the train to Ollantaytambo and our staff will be waiting for you at the train station to transfer you to your hotel.

Twenty-Fourth Day: Free day in Cusco.

This day you can visit museums, restaurants, markets and craft centers to acquire crafts, hiking through the San Blas also called “neighborhood artisans” or visit the stone of 12 angles.

Twenty-Fifth Day: Flight from Cusco to Lima.

At the indicated time, our staff will be present on site for transport to the airport where you will board the plane to Los Reyes.   At the airport we head to the hotel and have the afternoon free to relax.

Twenty Sixth day: Transfer from hotel to airport.

Two hours before flight departure, pick you up from your hotel and then transported to the airport, where we say goodbye and give order to our services.
