Cachicata Trek with Inka Trail

Day 01: CUSCO -PACHAR-SOCMA-PUCACCASA

Transfer from the hotel at 6 am approx. to then head to the city of Socma, arriving at 8 am. Where we will have our breakfast, then we will start the trek to reach the Perolniyoc waterfalls .After that, we arrive at the archaeological city of Perolniyoc where we will visit the place. Then we will continue the walk until Rayampata where we will have the lunch, after a break, we will go to the Pucaccasa camp and spend the first night.

Day 02: PUCACCASA- CANAL INKA -OLLANTAYTAMBO.

After breakfast, we continue our climbing for a period of 3 hours to reach the point of view of Kuichiccasa, 9.00am. There we will see the completely sacred valley and the city of Ollantaytambo and also the Urubamba mountain range, we continue to the Inka canal, Puerta Del Sol, Choquetacarpo and then we will have the lunch. After the lunch and a break, we continue the descent to reach Cachicata, arriving later to the city of Ollantaytambo, dinner and accommodation.

Day 03: OLLANTAYTAMBO -KM104.

After taking our breakfast, we went to the train station (6.45 a.m.), then we will board the train until km104, where we will start our trip visiting the archaeological complex of Chachabamba (2,250 masl). We will ascend towards Wiñayhuayna; this route is quite interesting because it has a diversity of flora and fauna, ferns, orchids, etc. And after exploring Wiñayhuayna together, we will go to the camp with our guide and after a short rest will continue to Inti Punku or door of the sun (2,490 masl). This point is an excellent place from which you can take panoramic pictures of the citadel of Machu Picchu and the surrounding landscapes.

In the afternoon, we will descend to Aguas Calientes or the town of Machu Picchu where we will spend the night.

Day 04: MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO.

After breakfast, we will board the bus to the Inka citadel of Machu Picchu, 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the citadel of Machu Picchu, we will go through the control, where we will deliver our entrance tickets and begin our guided tour, visiting the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the royal neighborhoods, the Temple of Three windows and cemeteries, approximately for two hours. Then you will be given free time, to take a walk around the citadel, in the afternoon, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes and we will go to our accommodation. We will take our bags and arrive at the train station with due anticipation to return to the city of Cusco and then we will transfer you to your hotel.
