Inca Trail Through The Jungle To Machu Picchu

This tour is recommended for adventurous people who in one tour may trekking, river rafting and canopy zip line.

Itinerary

First day: Cusco – Santa Maria: Bicycle 55km (optional Rafting: USD 50 from April – November).

Very early, at 6: 00hrs pass by the hotel to collect our mobility, then drive to the Abra Malaga (4350msnm) where we stop and get ready to descend 55 kilometer bike to reach the town of Huamanmarca, where we have lunch.   As you may notice descend climate change, glacier to warm, the road is covered with vegetation and fruit trees then we head to the town of Santa Maria, where we spend the night.   They spend the night in a hostel with basic services.

Optional: In Santa Maria have the opportunity to River Rafting Class III and IV¬ on the Urubamba River.   It is recommended to be performed between the months of April to November.   This service has an additional cost of $ 50.

Second day: Santa Maria – Santa Teresa: Trekking (23 km)

After breakfast we begin our trek toward the town of Santa Teresa and halfway cross a section of road that once connected Inca citadel of Machu Picchu with Vilcabamba, where they are important remains of Inca and pre-Inca origin.   From here we have an impressive view of the canyon Huancarccasa and then descend to the town of Quellomayo, lunch in a country restaurant and continue our trek to the thermal baths of Cocalmayo and after a refreshing bath we will go to town Santa Teresa, where we spend the second night.   They spend the night in a hostel with basic services.

Third day: Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes: Trekking 16km (Zip Line Canopy-optional: USD 50)

After breakfast we continue our walk towards the town of Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu Pueblo, walk through the valley of Aobamba up to Hidroelectrica, where we have lunch.   En route we will see a series of waterfalls and also have the opportunity to see the mountains of Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu and after two hours walking from one side of the railway arrive at Machu Picchu Pueblo.

Optional: Today you will have the opportunity to zip line canopy.   This service has an additional cost of $ 50.

Fourth day: Machu Picchu

This day is the most important, hence we get up at 4:30 am and begin our walk to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, considered one of the seven wonders of the modern world, we will walk for an average of 1:30 am to get to control where checked passports and tickets and then begin our guided tour by an average of 2 hours and will be provided free time for them to explore Machu Picchu on your own, then will return to Machu Picchu village where you will take the train to Cusco and once arrived at the station a representative of our company will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel in Cusco.
